As days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months the challenge of trying to get pregnant can become frustrating and emotional. The idea that it would be easy changes dramatically.
In our younger years we were told to not to have sex so as to avoid pregnancy and at that stage in your life while connecting the dots it seemed simple - just have sex and you will get pregnant.
So what can you do to get pregnant? If you have been trying for a while it is time to wipe the slate clean and start over. Forget all that you have gone through and start form scratch.
Take a little break and take your mind of it. In actual fact if there are support groups in your area you could discuss your challenge with others, as they say "a problem shared is a problem halved"
This may give you some new ideas that you never thought of or you may realize that you were doing something which was reducing your ability to get pregnant. Actually once you have done this and talked it over - then take a break because at this point it will be easier for you to relax since you now have a new plan of action.
In order for conception to take place you need a healthy sperm and a healthy egg. Both of you need to be eating healthy and exercising while avoiding foods that contain additives such as MSG and certain artificial colorings. Drink plenty of water and add supplements to your diet to get the nutritional balance you need.
Take some time out during the day to do some deep breathing exercises. While having sex do not use lubricants. After sex relax and stay lying down with your hips slightly elevated.
Observe changes that occur with your body in order to predict ovulation correctly. Do not have too much sex as this will reduce sperm count. Keep your sexual activity as close to ovulation as possible.
To conclude don't try too hard as this will lead to stress and don't be afraid to talk to people as relationship is the essence of life and you may just be missing a simple step that could make all the difference.
